My role is to work in a collaborative process to help the individual accept that anger is not the only emotion to express when feeling frustrated, sad, or powerless or any situation that threatens them as a man. This leads back to the original premise of where a man possibly learned that anger is a form of control..vehicle of attention seeking or even how to resolve conflict . Anger can be accessed healthily if taught that anger is a reactive response to a perceived threatening circumstance.
